The Aluminium Rolling Mill Sevojno was designed in 1969 as a factory for processing aluminium into semifinished articles to be used predominantly in the civil engineering industry, and to have an annual output o 35.000 tons of rolled products. The trial production started in 1973, and the regular full-time production in 1975.

The Aluminium Rolling Mill has produced around 800.000 tons of the finished products since its foundation in 1975.

he history of the Enterprise can be roughly divided into three periods:

- The Period of the successful growth of the production volume until 1987.

- The Period of the stagnation and the decrease of the production volume under the Sanctions imposed through the UN decision (1992-1999).

- The Period of an impressive growth of the production volume after the Privatization in 2002.
