Impol Seval a.d. invested 2.4 million EUR into the existing casthouse for the equipment for casting extrusion billets.
The first billets were cast on September 28, 2009.
The equipment bought enable casting the billets of dia. 8" (203.2 mm), 9" (228.6 mm) and 11" (279.4 mm) and length to 8 m in alloys of 6xxx series.
At present the billets will be placed on the market.
A strategic decision of Impol Seval a.d. is development of its own extrusion facilities.
